A year of steady reps: more time in the gym and on the mat, more time at home, and more time shipping things into the world.
Theme 1: Health as a Long Game
Steps were the bedrock (10k+ most days, a few months at 15k), and I kept body fat under 20% for the last 4-5 months. Strength held up too: 150kg+ deadlift, weighted pull-ups/dips, and a dependable rhythm across core lifts. Ashtanga Yoga turned out to be a quiet anchor and a long-term bet on mobility and consistency. Protein stayed high, and I learned to treat recovery as part of training instead of a break from it. (see Week 36, Week 31, Week 12, Week 34)
What I learned: Routine beats intensity; boring is dependable.
Theme 2: Building, Shipping, and Finding Fit
I shipped real software and learned where the sharp edges are. AskPrisma moved from v0 to tighter UX, direct DB connections, and deeper vertical exploration, and I started thinking more clearly about verification loops and product truth. Presenting at AI Bootcamp helped me crystallize how I think about agentic systems and where I want to go next, while small experiments kept me honest about pace and focus. (see Week 26, Week 36, Week 31, Week 33, Week 23)
What I learned: Idea-market-founder fit is a process, not a spark.
Theme 3: Home, Presence, and Family
The best days were the ordinary ones: morning and night routines with Ibhan, Saturday dates with Mona, and more time with parents and in-laws. Small rituals mattered - school routines, little craft projects, and nights that ended early but felt full. Took/planned trips - China, Europe, Mumbai - and the longer stretches together made the year feel richer than any single milestone. (see Week 2, Week 34, Week 39, Week 10)
What I learned: Home is where the heart is; I want to build a home with near and dear ones visiting.
Theme 4: Friends and Community
I reached out to old friends and kept a handful of newer ones warm. Reconnecting after long gaps reminded me how fast time passes and how quickly it can feel natural again. I enjoyed niche meetups more than big conferences and feel more pulled to smaller circles where real conversations happen. (see Week 6, Week 3, Week 36)
What I learned: You become the sum of the company you keep.
Theme 5: Learning, Creativity, and Travel
I kept building and experimenting with new tooling, and I wrote when I could. The week-to-week explorations helped me stay curious, while travel slowed me down in a good way and gave me more time for long walks and conversations. Small creative moments with Ibhan - crafts, costumes, painting - reminded me that creativity is a daily fuel, not a once-a-year project. (see Week 23, Week 4, Week 39, Week 10)
What I learned: Creativity refills when I ship and when I rest.
