Weekly notes related to explorations, workout and family

Explorations

Spent some time revisiting the core aspects of Docker especially around - multi-stage builds, caching, build .NET apps with linux/amd64 architecture and leveraging Azure Key Vault for secrets. To top it off setup a proof of concept running zero downtime deploys of these docker images with Kamal 2.1.0. The timing of release of Kamal has been kind of perfect - feels almost god sent.

Workout

Have kept the momentum on steps around the same ~13K but started including 4% incline for 1 hour as part of those steps. Strength and hypertropohy are going as planned - planing to hover around maintenance calories for few more weeks to keep I can continually see more strength gains. Also pulled in a long swim (1k) this week on Tue.

Family

Spent a lot more time with family last week. Saturday went on a lunch date with Mona at Lupa. The place was warm, welcoming with a hint of old school charm. I tried their cold brew and pastrami sandwich which good. More than the food I liked the vibe of the place and the time spent. Will probably visit again. Sunday I planned a visit to the Art of Living Internation Center at Kanakpura with the entire family. The drive was only 35 minutes probably because of the weekend. We happend to spend a relaxed day there walking around all the facilities and establishments. I would like to pay another visit probably in the evening when it’s cooler.
