Built an AI Tarot Card reader with Bolt - good for quick apps, though Cursor offers better dev control. Big week for Ibhan: lost two milk teeth and had his first space sci-fi experience with Armageddon. Got Mona an early birthday gift (Whoop band). Training: 6 days/week resistance with high volume, planning to add runs for extra calorie burn
Explorations
I wrapped a week-long session of “vibe coding” to build an AI (LLM Wrapper) based Tarot Card Reading app. Built most of it using Bolt. For simple end-to-end apps, Bolt is a breeze but for advanced users (developers) the control (accept/reject) mechanism of Cursor makes you feel more in control.
Family & Friends
In the last week, we had two of Ibhan’s milk teeth fall - one from the top row and one from the bottom. It’s making me realize that he is growing up really fast. Ibhan is loving it - for some reason he was waiting in anticipation as the top one started moving a bit two weeks back. The top one came off while having dinner; while the bottom one he just pulled off while looking at it in the mirror.
We have still a few weeks to go for Mona’s birthday, but I just got her a Whoop band for her birthday. I have had my eye on it for some time now, and I really feel that it actually sits well with its own feature set (or limitations) when it comes to various fitness trackers available in the market.
I finally introduced Ibhan to my favorite genre (World-Saving + Space Sci-Fi) of movies and kickstarted it this week with Armageddon. He has been learning about the planetary system in school and it felt like the right time. Armageddon is one of my all-time favorite movies.
Workout
I’ve been doing 6 days a week resistance training; have kept the training volume high along with 120-150g protein per day while reducing the overall calories. Want to add few runs or rucking to cut more calories in the coming month.
