Bengaluru’s “Cherry Blossom” season in full bloom 🌸, Ibhan graduated from Kindergarten 🎓, pushing for <20% body fat with 15K+ steps & incline walks, dialing resistance training to 4x/week.
General
It’s Bengaluru’s own “Cherry Blossom” season. We have a few trees in our apartment, and it’s a delight to see them in full bloom. While I have been piling up steps, it’s one of those things that makes me pause for a bit and feel grateful for the beauty surrounding me.
Family & Friends
Friday was Ibhan’s graduation day, at his Kindergarten school. Post summer vacations he will be joining Grade 1. It’s interesting to see how kinds gets accustomed to routines and expectations. I still remember he would keep asking “why do I have to go to school daily” while he was still in KG-1 and now in KG-2 most days he looks forward to his time there.
He also has developed “shark teeth” which is considered normal for kids his age.
Workout
I’m wanting to go lower than 20% body fat zone, so I’ve increased my daily steps to closer to 15K. Also, added around ~3k steps with incline (6%). Planning to keep the same steps but increase the time under incline. Resistance training has been going well - planning to push harder with 4 workouts a week instead of 6.
