Direct database connections for AskPrisma, attended RL Salon and coding agents mixer, started Ashtanga Yoga 🧘‍♂️ journey with Mona, and cherishing walks with parents 🚶‍♂️.

Explorations

AskPrisma.ai now connects directly with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery to run reasoning flows on your data. You can also combine it with CSVs and spreadsheets for comprehensive data analysis.

Participated in some niche events last week:

  • RL Salon: BLR hosted by Sachin, Vrushank, Shivam, and Dipam. We discussed everything from RL environments, RFT, continual learning, sim2real to AGI.
  • On Sunday, Nilesh organized a mixer for folks building coding agents - great conversations around the current state and future of agent development.

I’m now consciously avoiding large conferences and anything that smells like a networking event, gravitating instead towards niche meetups and birds of a feather (BOF) style gatherings.

Family & Friends

Have been joining mom for her morning walks and occasionally dad for his evening walks - feels like a privilege to spend this quality time with parents. On Friday, Mona and I visited Atlantis (HSR) for dinner. Having stayed near Agara, I couldn’t fathom such a grand place in that area. The food was excellent - we tried their dim sums and fried rice - while the ambience was mind-blowing with live music. Saturday brought a friend’s son’s Annaprashnam ceremony and Ganpati darshan in the society.

Workout

Started learning Ashtanga Yoga at Ashtanga Yoga Kendra in HSR. Mona had been practicing at this kendra for years before COVID and found it transformational. Since traveling to HSR alone is inconvenient for her, I decided to join as well - working on my mobility while picking something we can do together. The school follows traditional methods with group classes where each person is on their individual journey, with Guruji providing personal attention when teaching new asanas as needed. Most of the time, you’re practicing the asanas independently. Really looking forward to the next few months, though I might reduce resistance training from 6 days to 3-4 days weekly.
