Spent time revisiting 2025 around five core themes - health, building, family, friends and travel. Also locked in on core pillars to focus on for 2026.
Family & Friends
Mona and I will be participating in our society’s GPL (Greenage Premier League) annual cricket tournament, so we have been attending the practice sessions together. Sunday we decided to have paani-puri for dinner - yes, at our household we all are big fans and we do the full ensemble of preparing the paani (mint + coriander + tamarind water) and the potato + sprouts filling. We typically order the puris from a local shop. We don’t count the puris but we easily go beyond 30-40 per person.
Ibhan’s childhood friend was visiting from Canada - there is something refreshing about childhood friendships; they just hit it out immediately on catching up. It was nice catching up with his parents too and learning about their life in Canada, work pressures, and the continuous choosing between trade-offs - ageing parents, PR, education and employment.
Workout
Have been slightly irregular with Ashtanga Yoga but covering up by continuing with daily activity (steps), resistance training, and some cricket practice for the upcoming GPL tournament on Jan 31. Planning to lock in the rhythm when it comes to Ashtanga Yoga and moving from 3 days a week to 4 days a week of resistance training.
